#20 Desert Hills 28 @ #19 Brighton 21 (Thursday)
Desert Hills took a 28-14 lead in the half and survived a third quarter score to win the game 28-21. Desert Hills QB Noah Fuailetolo threw two touchdown passes in the win. Brighton caller Jack Johnson threw three touchdown passes in the loss.
North Sanpete (3A) @ Payson
Payson gets the victory by a score of 44-14. Payson was led to the blowout victory by the tremendous performance of Kade Edwards who threw five touchdown passes in the win.
Provo @ Grantsville (3A)
Grantsville takes a 30-12 win over Provo. Grantsville employs two quarterbacks, Hunter Bell throws for two scores and Parker Williams also adds a scoring pitch in the win.
West Jordan (6A) @ Woods Cross
West Jordan takes the win over Woods Cross as the Jaguars beat the Wildcats 31-21. Dameon Crosby throws a touchdown pass for West Jordan in the win. Meanwhile, Lock Smoot throws two touchdowns for Woods Cross.
#11 City Park @ Wasatch
Park City takes the victory over Wasatch by a final score of 31-10. Chase Byer ran for two touchdowns and threw one in the win. Meanwhile, Brayden Beyer scored on his own run.
Pine View (4A) @ #16 Stansbury
Stansbury blasts Pine View 72-13. Stansbury scores the most points of any team in the state in Week 1 with 72. Stansbury pitcher Ezra Harris throws four touchdown passes in the win.
Kearns (6A) @ Box Elder
Box Elder blasts Kearns 47-7. Braylon Majors lands a 73-yard interception return for a touchdown in the process. QB Ryan Griffin threw for a touchdown and ran for another.
Cyprus (6A) @ Tooele
Cyprus beat Tooele 25-0. The Pirates get the shutout to open the season. Skyler Armenta, Dee Kofe and Trey Lester all scored touchdowns for the Pirates.
Davis (6A) @ #5 Lehi
Lehi shuts out Davis 48-0. QB Jackson Brousseau throws for three touchdowns in Lehi’s win.
Mountain View @ Maple Mountain
Maple Mountain ran away with him to beat Mountain View 41-14. Jaxson Denton and Easton Merrell both show up on special teams and return kicks for touchdowns in the win.

Mountain Ridge defeats Olympus 28-21. Semisi Kinikini runs twice to pay in the Sentinels win.
#3 Lone Peak (6A) @ #9 Timpview
Timpview pulled off a huge upset and beat No. 3 ranked Peak by three touchdowns. Michah Beckstead heads the ball to pay the dirt twice and QB Quezon Villa throws for a TD in the win.
Carbon (3A) @ Hillcrest
In a defensive battle, a game in which only three points were scored, Carbon beat Hillcrest 3-0.
Uintah @ South Summit (3A)
3a South Summit embarrassed Uintah 40-8. Boston Woolstenhulme with two quick scores in the win.
Juan Diego (3A) @ Skyline
Skyline loses 55 points and defeats Juan Diego 55-7. Skyline QB Josh Clavert throws for three touchdowns.
Summit Academy (3A) @ Cottonwood
Summit Academy defeats Cottonwood 41-13. Devin Watson throws five touchdown passes for the Bears in the win. Gavin Talbot has a 15-yard run for a score.
