49ers and Santa Clara County Offer Adolescent Stadium Vaccination Clinic

SANTA CLARA – Brisa Oliva closed her eyes and winced as a nurse injected her with what her mother called a birthday present. The Sequoia High School student was among eligible Santa Clara County residents, aged 16 to 19, who received their COVID-19 shots at a three-day clinic at Levi’s Stadium on Tuesday.
âI was scared, but it didn’t hurt,â Oliva said as she waited 15 minutes to be monitored after her inoculation. She had seen that the San Francisco 49ers had partnered up with the county for the walk-in clinic and told her mother that she wanted to have her picture taken as well as the stadium tour offered between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. until to Thursday, May 14.

Those who participate get a visit to the locker room where the shots are administered, selfies with the field in the background, limited supplies of 49ers swag, access codes to a 49ers Virtual Escape Room game, and 10 gift cards. $ if they are among the first 100 adolescents vaccinated each night.
Ezuma Ekomo Ble, an elder at Milpitas High School, found out about the event from a post on her school’s Instagram account and went with her sister.
âIt was quick, it was easy,â Ble said. âGet vaccinated against COVID so that COVID is over and we can have fun again.
