San Jose Police search for car involved in fatal hit and run – CBS San Francisco
SAN JOSE (BCN) – Police are searching for a car involved in a fatal hit and run that killed a pedestrian early Sunday in eastern San Jose.
The collision was reported shortly before 1 a.m. near Rigoletto Drive and Brahms Avenue, San Jose police said in a press release.

A man crossing the street was not in a crosswalk when he was hit, police said. He died at the scene. His name has not been released.
The car that hit it is said to be similar to a 2006-2008 Acura TSX 4-door sedan, with possible damage to the front, according to police.
The driver left the scene immediately after the man was shot, police said.

This is the 40th fatal road accident in the city and the 41st victim in 2021. It is the 17th pedestrian fatality this year.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the identity of the victim and notifying the next of kin.
